The 2014 faith-based film God’s Not Dead surprised Hollywood by opening at No. 4 and ending with a $60 million gross, while its 2016 follow-up, God’s Not Dead 2, also launched at No. 4 and finished with a respectable $20 million.
Now, the studio behind those hits – Pure Flix – is busy filming the third installment: God’s Not Dead: A Light In Darkness (scheduled for a March 2018 release).
