When Stan and Jan Berenstain released their first “Berenstain Bears” book 55 years ago in 1962, the world was a completely different place. Color television was in its infancy. Man had yet to visit the moon. And the Internet was decades away.
Fast forward to 2017, and the Berenstain Bears books have impacted multiple generations and countless numbers of families – and have sold 250 million copies.
Their son, Mike Berenstain, now writes and illustrates the books, and he is this week’s guest on Words of Wisdom.
