He grew up in poverty, became a millionaire, and then felt led by God to his possessions and help Kenya’s orphans.

His name is Charles Mully, and on Oct. 3, 4 and 5 moviegoers will learn about his amazing story when the documentary/film Mully releases in theaters.

Called the “Father of the World’s Largest Family,” Mully was one of the most respected business owners on the continent of Africa in the late 1980s when — against the advice of his wife and biological children – he sold his businesses and started bringing in orphans off the street to live in his already-crowded home. Soon, he was building structures to house hundreds and then thousands of needy kids, meeting their spiritual and physical needs.

More than 25 years later, approximately 600,000 children have been impacted by his generosity.
