If you’ve watched the television hit Downton Abbey, then you’ve seen James Faulkner in action – as Lord Sinderby, Rose Aldridge’s father-in-law. But as Faulkner himself will tell you, nothing compares to the role he plays in his latest film, Paul: Apostle of Christ, which opens Friday (March 23) nationwide. Faulkner plays the lead role of Paul, who in the film is sitting in a Roman prison and awaiting execution. Faulkner is this week’s guest on Entertainment Spotlight.

The film I Can Only Imagine (PG) opens this weekend, detailing how MercyMe’s Bart Millard became inspired to write the 2001 song In Can Only Imagine, which remains one of the most popular tunes in the history of contemporary Christian music.

On March 19, a documentary that affirms a biblical worldview will show in theaters, for one night only. Called "The Riot and the Dance," it is hosted by Dr. Gordon Wilson, an animal and nature lover who also is senior fellow of natural history at New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho.

The same filmmakers behind Woodlawn, Mom’s Night Out and October Baby are set to release their next film in just a few days – and director Jon Erwin believes it might be their best one yet. I Can Only Imagine (PG) will debut in theaters Friday (March 16), telling the story behind one of the most popular songs in the history of Christian contemporary music. The film follows the life of MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard, who grew up in a home with an abusive father but then watched his dad come to Christ later in life.
