It can be challenging to get a child committed to a daily personal devotion. What, then, is a Christian parent to do?
Pastor and author David Murray asked that same question several years back – and he did something about it. Murray authored “Exploring the Bible: A Bible Reading Plan for Kids (Crossway),” in which he presents a simplified way to read the Bible with a plan tailored just for children.
Murray is professor of Old Testament and practical theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and pastor of Grand Rapids Free Reformed Church. He is also a counselor and a regular speaker at conferences.
Murray is this week’s guest on Words of Wisdom. He tells us about his book and also gives us tips on getting kids interested in reading Scripture.
